Tinubu appoints CEOs of 8 agencies under information ministry

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new Chief Executive Officers for various Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement he signed on Thursday titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new leadership across the information and national orientation sectors.

The appointments are as follows:

National Orientation Agency (NOA): Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu as Director-General.

Nigerian Television Authority (NTA): Mr. Salihu Dembo retains his position as Director-General.

Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN): Dr. Muhammed Bulama as Director-General, replacing Dr. Mansir Liman.

National Broadcasting Commission (NBC): Mr. Charles Ebuebu as Director-General, replacing Balarabe Illelah.

Voice of Nigeria (VON): Mr. Jibrin Ndace as Director-General, replacing Osita Okechukwu.

Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON): Dr. Lekan Fadolapo as Director-General.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN): Mr. Ali Ali as Director-General.

Nigerian Press Council: Mr. Dili Ezughah as Executive Secretary.

The appointment come 24 hours after closed-door talks between the President and the Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, at the State House, Abuja.

These appointments aim to foster innovation and create new opportunities for Nigerians while reforming these key government institutions to unify Nigerians, reshape mindsets, and showcase the nation to the rest of the world.
