LASAA launches 2024 mobile advert permit, new website, logo

The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has introduced its 2024 Mobile Advert Permit along with the debut of a fresh corporate logo and an upgraded website, aiming to elevate user experience and reinforce its commitment to innovation and efficiency in outdoor advertising regulation.

Announced via the Lagos State Government’s official communication channel on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, the agency emphasized its dedication to leveraging technology, enhancing user interaction, and ensuring relevance in the ever-evolving landscape of outdoor advertising regulation.

Managing Director/CEO of LASAA, Fatiu Akiolu, highlighted that the newly launched Mobile Advert Permit incorporates a secure QR code encrypted with essential details like brand type, number plate, and permit year. This innovative feature aims to revolutionize the registration process for branded vehicles in the state, ensuring authenticity and compliance.

Akiolu noted that verification becomes seamless through LASAA’s customized QR code scanner, available both online and offline. Additionally, LASAA has decentralized the registration process, enabling clients to conveniently register their branded vehicles at any LASAA branch office across the state or online, providing a more accessible service.

Akiolu emphasized the obsolescence of existing branded vehicle permits, urging both prospective and existing clients to initiate immediate registration or permit renewal for the new year to avoid potential vehicle impoundment. LASAA has deployed enforcement teams across Lagos for comprehensive coverage.

In line with the Mobile Advert Permit launch, LASAA introduced a technologically advanced website designed to enhance user experience, navigation, and interface interaction. The optimized website aims to fortify security against threats while showcasing LASAA’s dedication to technological innovation and superior service delivery.

The agency’s rebranded logo signifies a forward-thinking approach while upholding core values, reflecting LASAA’s influential role in shaping outdoor advertising and adapting to Lagos State’s evolving business environment.

Akiolu invited stakeholders, clients, and the public to explore the new website, engage with the Mobile Advert Permit system, and embrace LASAA’s refreshed brand. These initiatives underscore LASAA’s leadership in outdoor advertising regulation, representing a bold step toward the future.
