Polaris Bank pledges support for socio-economic development in Ogun State

Polaris Bank, a leading digital retail bank in Nigeria, has pledged its commitment to bolstering the growth of high-impact sectors such as road infrastructure, housing, education, healthcare, and agro-processing in Ogun State.

During a courtesy visit to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun at his office in Abeokuta, the Managing Director/CEO of Polaris Bank, Mr. Adekunle Sonola, expressed the bank’s intent to support the state’s notable achievements in infrastructure, education, and agro-processing. Emphasizing the bank’s eagerness to provide financial support, Sonola highlighted collaborative opportunities aimed at advancing socio-economic development in the state.

The meeting centered on potential collaborations in various sectors, underscoring Polaris Bank’s commitment to complement the government’s initiatives in delivering essential services to the people of Ogun State. Sonola also mentioned the bank’s innovative products, such as the e-hospital platform deployed in 11 states, aimed at boosting revenue collection through technology.

Describing Ogun State as progressive with robust infrastructure, Sonola praised Governor Abiodun’s administration for its commendable objectives and achievements over the last four years. He reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting the state’s progress and development.

Furthermore, Sonola assured that the bank had identified opportunities for collaboration with the Ogun State Government. He promised tangible results from these collaborative efforts within a few months, ensuring the delivery of agreed-upon projects.

The CEO outlined the meeting’s broad discussion areas, including infrastructure, housing delivery, healthcare improvement programs, education, agriculture, and other sectors where Polaris Bank could provide assistance. He highlighted the complementary relationship between the bank and the government to deliver services effectively to the people.
