D’banj Files Petition Against Do2dtun

Nigerian singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known as  D’banj, has sought an injunction from an Abuja federal court to restrain his estranged brother-in-law, Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, known as Do2dtun, from making malicious and defamatory posts about him on social media.

The court granted the injunction and ordered the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, to investigate a criminal complaint brought by D’banj against Do2dtun within two weeks and report back to the court.

Do2dtun had been engaged in a social media campaign against D’banj, making various allegations, including not being allowed to see his children. However, D’banj’s sister, Taiwo, refuted these claims and stated that the entertainer had access to their children.

This legal action is a development in an ongoing public dispute between the two parties.

It would be recall that the custody battle between Do2dtun and his estrange wife Taiwo Oyebanjo got messier as the OAP criticized Taiwo for denying him access to the children.

Do2dtun has threatened to release the telephone number of Nigerian singer, D’banj and other family members within 24 hours if the singer’s sister – who is his estranged wife – fails to grant him access to their kids.

“Hello @iamdbanj I give u & your sister 24 hours to tell me how u intend to grant me access to my kids. If you don’t I’ll put the numbers of every of your family members out. They will call you on my behalf.

“Shey o ni pe o ya werey Abi… Ole oshi.. atole! alatenuje! Onidoti!”

“U @iamdbanj are friends wit pastors like @RealJerryEze.

“U don’t have the same divination as them. You are the devil they shld stay away from. You want to get into the church space not cos you love God but to build your dead cream platform. All the boys you used are waiting for u,” he added.

Dotun has alleged that his ex-wife, Omotayo Oyebanjo, the younger sister of singer Dbanj, and her family are denying him access to their kids – two daughters.

The duo got married in 2013 and Omotayo reportedly filed for separation over forced abortion, domestic violence and emotional abuse in 2022.
