WhatsApp to Introduces Multi-Account Functionality for Streamlined User Experience

Date:

To enhance the experience of managing multiple accounts and using the app, WhatsApp is introducing a multi-account feature and refreshing its settings interface for a modern and user-friendly experience.

Over time, the need for operating multiple accounts within a single app has increased. Other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (now 𝕏) have already incorporated this feature.

According to the WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is actively developing its multi-account feature, which will empower users to add a secondary account directly through the WhatsApp settings. This eliminates needing a separate app or device to access your additional account.

This multi-account functionality will enable you to effortlessly switch between two distinct accounts on the same device, eliminating the need to constantly log in and out or switch between apps. Additionally, this feature ensures that your conversations and notifications remain neatly separated for added convenience.

Navigating the app’s options will be more intuitive, and the profile tab will now be conveniently located in your chat list for easy access.

These exciting updates, including the multi-account feature and the redesigned settings interface, are currently available to beta testers using the latest WhatsApp beta for Android. The good news is that they will soon be rolling out to a broader user base in the coming days.
