Nigerian movie star Nse Ikpe-Etim has made history by becoming the first Nigerian actress to win the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) after a four-year gap.
The award ceremony took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos. Nse Ikpe-Etim received the award for her role in Izu Ojukwu’s “4-4-44,” marking a significant achievement in her career.
This win follows Sola Sobowale’s victory for “King of Boys” in the same category in 2019, and it demonstrates the recognition of Nse Ikpe-Etim’s outstanding acting talent in the African film industry.
